Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly issued a plea to viewers after many were left frustrated by a technical glitch. The second episode of the new series kicked off on Monday (November 17) evening, and featured Angry Ginge and Ruby Wax take on the first eating trial. After the pair successfully won 10 stars, all eyes were on the next trial and which celebrity would be taking part. One star will enter the jungle doomsday vault, filled with snakes and other horrors in the hopes of winning meals for camp.
Like always, Ant and Dec told viewers to head over to the I’m A Celebrity app to vote for who they wanted to see do the trial. But there appeared to be a technical issue as several viewers were unable to vote. Many were left furious, with one writing on X: ” #ImACeleb @ITV come on guys sort it out. If the app is going to take you to the website to vote, make sure IT have prepared for the amount of traffic coming to the site!! No sooner did Ant and Dec say keep trying, it worked for a couple of votes and blew up again!!”
Another fumed: ” #ImACeleb not impressed with the @imacelebrity app tried to vote & it’s not working.”
A third raged: “The #ImACeleb voting system this year has been c**p, this is the second time I haven’t been able to vote, I got the code to confirm my number 10 minutes late yesterday, and today i keep on getting a timeout on login? Is anyone else having this issue?”
Ant and Dec addressed the issue at the next opportunity, urging fans to keep trying and explaining that the problem was caused by too many people voting at once.
“We know a few of you out there are experiencing some problems with the app. But it’s because the vote is incredibly busy so please keep trying,” Dec said.

Ant added: “Keep trying!”
Later in the show, Dec explained that the app issues were likely due to the overwhelming number of votes they had received.
“We have had well over a million votes tonight which is why you may have experienced a few problems on the app. Thanks for your votes, they are coming through,” he told viewers.
Before heading into camp to reveal who was doing the next trial, Ant confirmed they had received more than two million votes overall.
At the end of the episode, Ant and Dec revealed Aitch will be taking on tomorrow night’s trial.
