Coronation Street‘s Jenny Connor is cruelly tricked by Daisy Midgeley and returning character Christina Boyd next week.
Jenny falls victim to a romance scam, as vengeful Daisy and Christina team up to play with her emotions.
Viewers have seen Jenny and Daisy’s relationship become increasingly strained over the past few weeks.
Tensions grow even further over the coming days as Daisy discovers that Jenny is expecting a £60,000 payment from shares that her ex-husband – Daisy’s dad – invested in her name. Jenny is opting not to tell Daisy about this, which Daisy sees as a real betrayal.

Things get even worse when Daniel Osbourne’s young son Bertie suffers a nasty accident in Tim and Sally Metcalfe’s hot tub. Daisy openly blames Jenny for this, as she was supposed to be looking after Bertie.
As the repercussions continue next week, Daisy tells Daniel that she thinks Jenny has gone too far this time. Daisy also warns Jenny that she’s not sure she can ever forgive her for the awful things she said in their latest argument.
Amid the sniping, Daisy feigns surprise as her mum Christina turns up at The Rovers. Christina quickly makes her presence felt and seems to be in cahoots with Daisy.

Later in the week, Jenny distracts herself with a potential new romance as she announces that she has met a brilliant man called Dom via a dating app.
Daisy and Christina are the ones sending the messages, and they delight in their private jokes at Jenny’s expense as they continue to reel her in.
Before long, the mother-daughter duo up their game by sending Jenny a bouquet of flowers that’s supposedly from Dom.

Daisy is pleased with the success of the plan, but she worries that Jenny will want to meet Dom in the flesh soon.
Can they continue to keep Jenny on the hook, or is it only a matter of time before they’re caught out?
