Coronation Street HEARTBREAK As Liam Connor Breaks Down Over Mick’s VICIOUS ATT@CK But What He Tells Maria Leaves Her STUNNED
Coronation Street‘s Liam Connor will be left mortified after his recent bullying ordeal.
Liam was recently targeted by villain Mick Michaelis after a practical joke at the builder’s yard was taken too far. When Mick’s prank left Liam covered in cement, the teenager quickly got his own back.
However, Mick escalated the childish games by locking a scared Liam in the tool shed for hours, causing him to miss his exam. Liam’s stepdad Gary Windass was furious when he discovered what had happened and fired Mick.
In next week’s episodes, Liam returns to the builder’s yard to continue his work experience. But when Ed Bailey shares a joke, Gary quickly shoots him a warning look.

Mortified Liam realises that Gary has told Ed about Mick locking him in the shed. Should Gary have kept quiet about the ordeal?
“The last thing Liam wants is to be treated any differently from the other lads at the yard – he’s keen to move on from what happened with Mick, and his traumatic past with Mason,” our Corrie source shares.

“It’s only natural for Gary to be protective towards his stepson after everything he’s been through, but will he need to take a step back?”
In an interview with Digital Spy, Joe Layton, who plays Mick, explained his character’s actions towards Liam.
“It started out quite playful – and I think genuinely from a good place. Mick was trying to have a bit of banter in the builder’s yard. But his ego is so fragile that as soon as Liam started to push back a bit, he ended up lashing out at Liam,” he said. “A lot of it is bravado, I think, masking deeper insecurities.”
