Could Anthony’s SHOCK Return Be The TWIST That Saves Ruby From EXPOSING Herself As Emmerdale Fans Spot STRANGE Clues In Latest Episodes
Fans of Emmerdale have predicted that Anthony Fox may re-emerge alive, just as Ruby Miligan makes her confession. Last night’s episode of the soap (Monday, June 2) saw a panicked Ruby head to the police station, determined to confess to killing her dad.
This came as a body was found in the lake, which she and her family assumed belonged to Anthony. Assuming that John had lied about Anthony’s body and dumped it in the lake instead of burying it, she began to panic.
After further incriminating herself by looking up decomposition rates of dead bodies online, Ruby came to a decision – leaving her husband and the rest of the murder cover-up committee shocked.

Ruby confessed to the police on Emmerdale this week
Wanting to save Caleb’s skin before the police could come knocking, Ruby decided to hand herself in to the police. Caleb attempted to talk her out of this course of action – plotting an escape to Ireland instead – but Ruby’s mind was made up.
As the episode ended, she arrived at the police station and confessed to murder. How will Ruby talk her way out of this one?
Many fans think Anthony’s still alive (Credit: ITV)
Anthony is alive and will ‘save’ Ruby from confession, Emmerdale fans predict
A new fan theory has emerged suggesting that Ruby’s supposedly dead dad may now choose this moment to reveal himself, being very much not dead at all.
“Okay, well Anthony is going to rock up alive then,” wrote one fan on X.
“I’m going to laugh myself sick if Anthony is still alive,” said another.
“I bet her dad is still alive,” speculated a third, over on Instagram.
“Anthony is going to come walking back into the village and tell the police that it was all a mistake,” a fourth suggested.
Conspiracy theorists began speculating that Anthony lives soon after his apparent ‘death.’ While Ruby certainly believes she killed him, some think that ‘hero’ paramedic John could have secretly resuscitated him and nursed him back to health.
