The I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! campmates are days away from finding out who will be crowned King or Queen of the Jungle. However, for some time, it seemed that one person was going to emerge as the winner after truly winning over the public. However, the last few days have been critical for viewers who are starting to see a different side to multiple campers, including the former favourite. Angry Ginge, who was previously coming in at odds of 7/4 to take home the crown, according to Ladbrokes, has now stumbled further down.
Ginge has now fallen to the second spot after Aitch has shot to the firm top spot with odds of 5/4 to win, while Ginge is now at odds of 5/2. Nicola McGeady of Ladbrokes added: “Move over Angry Ginge, it looks like Aitch is the new King of the Jungle. The rapper has knocked his best mate off the top spot and is attracting the lion’s share of bets as the finale approaches.”

Ginge was gaining popularity with viewers at home, but as the show continued, people started to get frustrated. Tensions within the camp first began to rise after Aitch was elected camp leader and Ginge came in as deputy, but as the days continued, issues emerged. The most notable incident was between Ginge and the rest of the camp over cleaning duties, which Vogue Williams called him out on.
He repeatedly shared his frustrations over the tools people were using to eat in the camp, but Vogue recognised that this was only an issue now Ginge was in charge of cleaning. People quickly joined in the campmates’ fury and took to X to share their frustration, with one user writing: “My heart bleeds for Ginge having to wash three cups and a wooden spoon.”
Another wrote: “Is Angry Ginge off his head? He cannot ask people to reduce the number of dishes just because he can’t be arsed cleaning them.”
A third person wrote: “Ginge is behaving like a 4-year-old about the washing up. All the time he whines about it, he could have it done!” Ginge was also involved in the very controversial decision for Kelly, Aitch, and Ginge to steal half of the milk bottles.
The decision divided viewers at home, with some finding it hilarious while others deemed it sneaky of the trio to steal from their fellow campmates, a move that had only happened once in I’m A Celeb history.
When it emerged that they’d stolen the treats, Ginge and Aitch lied and said there were three extra milk bottles and so they took one each, which once again angered fans, with one person writing on X: “‘Yeah we deserved them because we won the task’, by trying to cover up it just looks like he’s got a stinking attitde.”
While Ginge’s odds of taking home the crown have dropped, he’s still looking more and more likely to be in the final on Sunday, December 7.
