AL Roker and his wife have enjoyed a glamorous midweek date night.

Deborah Roberts, 63, and The Today Show star posed on the red carpet in New York City on Tuesday.

In new photos, Al, 69, and his wife cuddled up at the premiere of A Gentleman in Moscow at the Museum of Modern Art.

The daytime TV duo smiled widely for the cameras, stopping for photos with their arms wrapped around each other.

For the exclusive event, Al stuck to his usual suave fashion, sporting a three-piece suit.

The television star opted for a navy suit, paired with a lavender tie and a blue lapel flower.

Al paired his outfit with brown brogues and a gold pocket watch, along with dark tortoiseshell glasses.

ABC’s Deborah, meanwhile, chose a more modern style, with her hair tied back to show off her flawless makeup.

She wore an eye-catching frilly green top, along with skintight black pants.

Deborah finished off her look with floral-print boots and an assortment of silver jewelry, and held onto a black leather bag.

COUPLE GOALS

In September, Deborah and Al celebrated their 28th wedding anniversary in Italy.

The duo posted a pic of themselves sipping champagne and a snap of a bed covered in rose petals, alongside a snap of two limoncello shots.

Deb also shared pictures from their wedding day to her feed, along with photos from throughout the years.

She captioned the post, “Wow! It’s been 28 years. Beginning with a few jitters, great excitement and hearts brimming with hope, we embarked on this journey.

“And it has been one great adventure. This last year has taught us to cherish each moment. You are mine… I am yours. And where you are, I am too.”

She concluded the heartwarming message, “Happy anniversary my dearest. Let’s keep making memories.”

TURBULENT TIMES

While Al and Deborah have gone from strength to strength, Al’s health issues in 2022 caused Deborah to fear that he wouldn’t make it to Christmas.

He was hospitalized twice for blood clots in his legs and lungs in 2022, and was absent from the morning show for nearly two months.

After his emergency hospital stays, the broadcaster focused on regaining his lost weight and strength.

When Al finally returned to the morning show at the beginning of January last year, Deborah went back to work at the ABC newsroom as well.

Although the couple stayed strong during Al’s health crises, Deborah decided to take a break from work in February to unwind after the difficult time.

She explained, “As Al and I have talked a lot about his health struggles and just what we all went through over the last few months I think he’s come to realize – and so I have – just how stressed I was, I mean how stressed we all have been.

“When you go through something life-threatening like that it is really really a stressor.”
