Viewers slammed Bill Murray after he shockingly k1ssed actress Naomi Watts during the latest episode of Watch What Happens Live.
During the March 31 episode of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, the 74-year-old actor stunned fans as he went in for an unexpected k1ss during an interview with Naomi. The happily married actress joined the talk show to promote their latest drama comedy The Friend.
The awkward moment came when Bill was asking Naomi a series of questions submitted by fans. One of the questions submitted was a fan named Amina from Washington D.C. who asked the 56-year-old actress who her best-ever on-screen K1ss was. And before Naomi had the chance to reply, Bill swooped in and planted a k1ss on her lips.
After the smooch, Bill came up and shot a thumbs-up to the camera. Naomi, trying to make light of the inappropriate move, then turned to Bill and said: “You’ve got lipstick on your face.” To which Bill jokingly replied: “OK. Did I go red? That was too easy.”

Naomi then answered the original question as she stated: “Well, of course, it’s Billy Crudup, my husband.” And while Naomi handled the moment as gracefully and professionally as she could have, viewers at home were fuming over Bill’s display.
Under a newly posted Reddit thread, one outraged user wrote: “Can we just call this what it is? Assault. How disgusting.”
Another agreed: “That’s an appalling way to k1ss someone with consent. I can’t look at that and think it’s anything other than assault.” While someone else chimed in: “Naomi is happily married and I’m sure would love to stay a million miles away from Bill Murray.”
Others wished that she would’ve spoke out in the moment, as an upset fan wrote: “I really wish her reaction would’ve been more along the lines of ‘What the f— is wrong with you?!’ But I get that this is a difficult situation for an actress.” To which another responded: “Fight, flight, or freeze. I can’t blame her for freezing.”
