Drama About To EXPLODE As Jack P Shepherd Drops A CHILLING Message Hinting Gary Windass Is Hiding Something BIGGER Than Anyone Thought
Coronation Street star Jack P Shepherd has warned that “something bad” is on the way involving Gary Windass.
The actor, who plays David Platt, shared the plot teaser while speaking exclusively to us about his upcoming scenes.
Fresh from winning Celebrity Big Brother at the end of April, Jack has returned to filming at Corrie and remains in the thick of the action.
Catching up with us on the red carpet at the British Soap Awards, Jack revealed that David will get involved in the ongoing Mick Michaelis story.

He then warned of trouble for Gary in the not-too-distant future…
Jack laughed: “I don’t know what I can tease and what I can’t!
“[Mick’s] still in it and he’s still doing naughty, bad things. I’m kind of involved in that, in a way.
“And then something happens with Gary. Something bad happens with Gary. I’m kind of involved in that.
“None of them are my stories, but I’m involved in them, in a way! That’s kind of what I’m filming at the minute.”

Gary had a quiet start to 2025 on Corrie, disappearing from screens at the beginning of January and only returning in late April.
Since then, Gary has appeared much more frequently – including his recent violent feud with dangerous Mick. Their tensions only ended when Mick was sent to prison on remand for Craig Tinker’s murder.
Gary has also been keeping a close eye on his stepson Liam Connor, who was tormented by Mick when they worked at the builder’s yard together.
The British Soap Awards 2025 took place at London’s Hackney Empire on Saturday night (31 May).
The ceremony airs this Thursday (5 June) at 8pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
