The Today anchor recently uploaded a snap of a dish filled with breadstuffing on her Instagram account.
Included in the bread-stuffing with the bread appeared to be celery, onions, and a great deal of seasoning.
Dylan, 42, disclosed “her secret” to making a tasty gluten-free bread stuffing.
She captioned: “Future #cookingwithcal recipe coming soon! But my secret so far is a mix of gluten free bakery bought loaf of bread, @simplekneads_gf sourdough bread, and @canyonglutenfree honey white bread…left out for 2 days then lightly toasted. More to come!”
Fans in her comment section thanked her for the recipe and insisted she’d keep more food recipes coming.
“Excited to see the recipe! I’ve been wanting a good GF stuffing recipe for years! Thanks for sharing,” one fan wrote.
A second fan agreed: “Bravo Dylan! Can’t wait for the recipe. Looks deeee-lush!”
Another declared: “I hope you’re documenting all of your recipes to put out a cookbook!
There are a lot of people that could benefit from what you are doing for Cal.
The time you spend figuring everything out to make it inclusive is inspiring.”
Someone else declared: “Yes!!! Share the recipes!!!”
COOKING WITH CAL
The morning show moderator sometimes spends her free time off-air with Cal in the kitchen.
Dylan showed her followers a glimpse into her home life with a cooking video of her and her young son making enchiladas together in March.
Cooking With Cal is a series that she started with Calvin for the Today show.
Cooking with Cal shows Dylan sharing her favorite tips and tricks for busy parents who love cooking with their kids.
After posting an installment of the series to her Instagram account earlier this year, fans were left divided.
Wearing a star-covered sweater, Dylan listed the ingredients of the enchilada recipe passed on to her by her sister-in-law Jenny.
She told Cal: “We’ve got leftover chicken, baked beans, green chilies, cream cheese, and olives.”
FAN REACTIONS
Fans immediately noticed that one crucial element was missing.
“Mmmm. Just add some shredded cheese,” one follower commented.
Another said: “I was sure they were going to add shredded cheese on top!”
One fan even went as far as to say: “These are definitely not enchiladas. It is completely ok to cook what you want though.
“Try real enchilada cooking because they are very delicious and also easy to make.”
Dreyer was not deterred, however, saying “It’s a super different recipe, I love it!”
Many followers loved the content. One admirer commented “Mom way to go. Great job.”
Another said “You’re a wonderful mommy Dylan! I love watching you interact with your one-on-one lessons with your son.
“It’s sometimes a lot of work, but you are making special memories you will always cherish!”
