EastEnders Sends SHOCKWAVES With Early iPlayer Release Confirming Elaine’s DEVASTATING Choice — One Scene Hints It Could DESTROY Everything She’s Built
EastEnders’ Elaine Knight has made a devastating decision – and it changes everything for her relationship with George.
This week, Elaine discovered that George had visited Junior’s mum Sabrina on Christmas night, and his ex had tried to kiss him.
While George swore that he hadn’t cheated on her, Elaine was heartbroken that she had been lied to by her husband once again.
Elaine later tried to find her husband to get to the truth and decide their future, but she spotted George and Cindy looking cosy on the balcony of The Albert.

In the latest episode, Elaine was furious and headed to the café for a chat with Kathy, who encouraged her to confront the situation head on.
She returned to The Albert where Felix told her that George and Cindy had left together with a bottle of wine. While Elaine assumed the worst, viewers saw that George had simply helped Cindy to make amends with her family.
Elaine called on an old friend for advice, but while she waited for him at the club, she got talking to a punter called Stephen who was in Walford on a business trip.

Drew Peacock – who was in a relationship with Elaine’s late husband John – then arrived for a heart-to-heart. He had encouraged Elaine to make a go of things with George last year, but now he told her that she deserves better.
He made it clear that Elaine needs to find someone who appreciates her more than George, and pointed her in the direction of Stephen, who had been looking at her from the bar.
Elaine approached Stephen and they got talking – and later it was revealed that the pair slept together, in a shocking twist.

She returned to the Vic late at night, where George apologised for his actions and explained that his chat with Cindy had confirmed to him how important their relationship was.
It dawned on Elaine that George hadn’t cheated on her – but she had just cheated on him. Will she come clean to her husband?
