Emmerdale fans, here’s your ominous first look at terrible danger ahead for Caleb Miligan in Thursday’s episode (March 27).
Caleb is about to find himself at the mercy of scheming Joe Tate and dodgy Dr Crowley as the quest to steal his kidney continues.
Wednesday’s (March 26) visit to the Dales ends with Joe receiving a 24-hour deadline to somehow get Caleb to a private hospital without his consent.
As Joe’s accomplice Gina has failed to come up with the goods, he now turns to another ruthless person on his payroll – dangerous newcomer Shaun.
Emmerdale‘s newly released picture shows Shaun confront Caleb outside his depot.

Unlike Gina, Shaun will stop at nothing to carry out Joe’s orders.
At the weekend, it was revealed that Shaun threatens to steal Caleb’s car and stabs him in a subsequent altercation.
This paves the way for Joe to take a seriously-injured Caleb to the private surgery, where Dr Crowley is waiting.

Crowley is terrified, as it’s unclear whether he’ll be able to save Caleb from his severe injury while also carrying out the transplant.
Ned Porteous, who plays Joe, recently said: “I don’t think Joe is a complete psychopath and without empathy. I think he would care if something bad were to happen, but I think he would also put his own life before Caleb’s.
“I think he’s willing to accept the consequences of a worst-case scenario, which is obviously sad to say, but in the mission of self-preservation, I’m sure he would do anything.”
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday, March 27 on ITV1 and ITVX.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV1, and streams on ITVX.
