Emmerdale‘s Billy and Dawn Fletcher unite in worry next week as their baby son Evan is rushed back to hospital.
A new spoiler clip provides fresh insight into Evan’s latest health scare, which leaves Billy anxious and harshly blaming himself.
Upcoming scenes see Evan show worrying symptoms after Billy takes him on a trip to London.
It’s the first time Evan has travelled far since his leukaemia diagnosis last year and Billy fears it was a big mistake when he falls ill.

Emmerdale‘s new spoiler clip sees a panicking Dawn arrive to join Billy at the hospital.
When she asks to know what happened, Billy explains the situation: “They’re trying to bring down his temperature. We’re going to have to wait.
“He just started going red on the way back from London and by the time we got to Hotten, he had a temperature so I brought him here.”
He adds: “Before you say anything, I get it – alright? I should never have taken him that far.”

As Billy continues to express his guilt, Dawn urges him to see that this wasn’t his fault.
Billy is comforted by Dawn’s support and it’s like old times as they join forces to be there for Evan.
Viewers saw Dawn end her relationship with Billy earlier this month.

Billy knew that there’d been problems between him and Dawn for a while, so she kept quiet about how her affair with Joe Tate was the main influence behind her decision.
So, are the touching new scenes an early sign that there’s still hope for the estranged couple? Or is this just the start of their new reality as co-parents rather than romantic partners?
Emmerdale airs these scenes on Thursday 1 May on ITV1 and ITVX.
