EMMERDALE REVIEW THIS WEEK’S OUT: John struck again, Robron reunited and Moira teamed up with Robert and Victoria

As we review this week’s Emmerdale, our main thought is WHAT A WEEK. It may have been one of the most chaotic few days in a very long time.
Let’s take you back to the beginning of the week when our favourite couple finally reunited. While it may have been short-lived, we have faith they’ll work their way back to each other.
Fast-forward to the end of the week and it seems Emmerdale has k!lled off Mackenzie Boyd in a huge twist.
So, here’s our Emmerdale review for this week
Robron reunited
Ever since Robert Sugden returned to the village we all knew it was only a matter of time before he and Aaron were back in bed together. And it FINALLY happened after some extremely emotional scenes.
Aaron found his ex-husband breaking down and smashing everything up as he thought he lost everything. And Aaron wanted to make him see that wasn’t the case.
After a beautiful conversation between them about how they still had feelings for each other, Robert kissed Aaron – and he didn’t push him away.
Obviously, afterwards Aaron decided it was best for him to leave the village with John. But let’s face it – he’ll soon realise what a mistake that is…
John was extremely stressed this week (Credit: ITV)
Nate’s murder case was reopened..and closed
Not to surprisingly, the police realised Owen’s confession was saved AFTER he was d3ad (took them long enough to realise that). And so they set off looking for answers again.
But John being John was able to get everything resolved by using the removal man AKA his army friend, Ben.
He conveniently strolled into the shop and was able to confirm that Owen was the man who hired him. And alas, the police were happy enough and put the confession down as a technology glitch.
The end of Mack!
But it wasn’t long before Mack realised the truth. And by that point it was too late for him to get away. John knew he knew. And he did what he had to to keep him quiet.
In quite shocking and horrifying scenes, John hunted Mack down through the woods with a bow and arrow – yes, literally.
But even after he got shot through the lungs, Mack tried to hold on. Until John caught up on him and seemingly dropped a huge rock on his head. The next we saw, John seemed to have his body bundled up in the boot of his truck.
However, some Emmerdale fans aren’t sure if Mack’s actually d3ad. But it looks pretty final. Love him or hate him, Lawrence Robb was fantastic at playing Mack. And it’s quite a shame if that actually is his end.
Moira made alliances
For the last few months the farm has been struggling and Moira has been debating selling up to Kim Tate and Joe. But deep down she knew not to make a deal with the devil.
Instead, she stayed closer to home and teamed up with Victoria and Robert Sugden to make their farming empire even bigger. And with Caleb in agreement for them to use his land, they seem to be outnumbering Kim by quite a lot.
We have to admit, at the start of Kim’s storyline, we weren’t too sure if we cared. But having it ramp up to a war between the Tate’s and the Sugden/Barton’s – we’re so here for it! It feels like old-school Emmerdale at its finest.
But Celia seems to be on Team Kim
However, there’s always one person who is ready to betray the team: Enter Celia. While she may have fooled Moira into believing she is on her team, she has actually been Team Tate.
Could their empire fall apart before it’s even begun because of an inside job? Or perhaps Celia will see the error of her ways and join the team properly…

Favourite bits of the week:
This week was full of iconic Emmerdale lines and moments that really showed the show is once again at its best.
But two particular scene winners had to be between Mack and Aaron and then Joe’s car being boxed in.
When Aaron was confiding in his best pal about hooking up with Robert, he tried to justify it by saying he wanted to calm him down.
In response, Mack pulled out the hilarious line: “What? The best way to calm him down was to take your clothes off?”
We weren’t the only ones to cackle out loud at that line as social media users did too! And it just felt like classic Mack – and acted as proof he shouldn’t be k!lled off.
But at the very end of the week, when the war between Joe and Robert was escalating, Moira and the others got their revenge by literally boxing Joe’s car in with hay-stacks. And his face was priceless.
Overall, in our Emmerdale review, this week had some absolutely brilliant scenes – and we’re expecting a LOT more to come.
