Charity is desperate to help Sarah in Emmerdale spoilers

Sarah’s recent cancer surgery resulted in an emergency hysterectomy, meaning her dream of getting pregnant is over. But brave mechanic is now exploring the possibility of surrogacy after Cain put the idea in her head.

The search for a suitable surrogate via the agencies has already hit a dead end, so Charity decides to look for someone closer to home. That someone is Victoria, who is stunned when Charity pops by to ask if she’ll act as Sarah’s surrogate.

As Vic struggles to process the huge proposition, Charity pleads with her to say yes – explaining she may be Sarah’s only chance. But Robert is not impressed when he hears what Charity has asked of his sister, or the pressure she’s put her under.

Later, Charity and Cain discuss the situation. Both in agreement that they need to keep their options open and explore other possibilities.

Cain gets scammed by a fake surrogate

With Cain so caught up with Sarah’s surrogacy, Moira is concerned it’s not allowing him to properly grieve for Nate. But Grumpy won’t be told as he arranges a meeting with one of the agency surrogates.

Over at Jacobs Fold another quarrel breaks out when Sarah discovers her gran went behind her back by asking Victoria to carry the baby.

While Sarah seethes, Cain is annoyed when the surrogate fails to show. He offloads to Chas and Ryan, who tells Cain he’s fallen victim to a scam. Feeling foolish for ever being so naive, Cain lashes out in the middle of The Woolpack.

Emmerdale spoilers: Charity offers to be a surrogate for Sarah

As Sarah resigns herself to never being a mum, Charity can’t bear to carry watching her suffer. On impulse, she offers to carry Sarah’s kid for her.

Cain can’t believe what he’s hearing and rails at Charity for being so hasty. He also points out she’s made this life-changing decision to undergo IVF and not even thought about consulting Mack.

Sarah is also uneasy with the idea and doesn’t like that her gran hasn’t told her own husband. But will she take Charity up on her offer?
