Emmerdale‘s Jai Sharma steps up his search for answers over Anthony Fox’s disappearance next week.

The businessman quizzes his ex-wife Laurel Thomas as he remains convinced that the Miligan family are keeping secrets over Anthony’s fate.

Viewers know that Ruby Fox-Miligan k!lled her abusive father Anthony in January.

Ruby’s husband Caleb helped her to cover up her crime. More recently, Ruby decided to tell her daughter Steph the full devastating story.

A new Emmerdale spoiler clip now shows the moment that Jai digs for dirt in Tuesday’s hour-long episode (March 25).

Jai has noticed Caleb and Steph both responding strangely any time that Anthony’s name is mentioned.

This is exactly the leverage that Jai is looking for as he hopes to bring Caleb down a peg or two.

Jai decides to find out what Laurel knows about Anthony’s disappearance, but she begs him to stop digging as the Miligan family have a lot more going on than he realises.

Will Jai back down, or use this as a lead to pursue further?

Georgia Jay, who plays Steph, recently spoke about her character’s loyalty to Ruby and Caleb now that the truth is out.

She said: “Steph would definitely not throw her parents under the bus, that’s for sure. I don’t think she’d want anyone going down for it.

“In terms of whether she’d be able to cope, it’s a hard one because in those circumstances you’re not going to rock the boat anymore.

“You’re dealing with something on such a large scale, so sending people down for murder or trying to focus on that avenue wouldn’t really help you that much.

“It’s a hard one because I don’t think anyone would cope massively well. But I definitely think Steph would stay true to her family.”
