Marlon is consumed with regret in Emmerdale spoilers
Dylan’s presence in the village has really rattled Marlon’s cage. Fearing the troubled kid would be a bad influence on April, Marlon planted ketamine in Dylan’s pocket to make it look as if he’d nicked it from the vets. April believed Dylan was guilty and turned her back on him.
But Marlon’s actions had near-fatal consequences after Dylan then suffered an overdose. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared his condition to be critical.
Marlon was devastated by the damage he’d caused and came clean to wife Rhona. She convinced him not to tell April, insisting it would make things even worse.
However the guilt proves too much for Marlon as he decides to tell Dylan the truth.

Dylan and Marlon make a pact
Marlon throws himself at Dylan’s mercy as he confesses what he did. He tries to justify his actions, insisting he only had April’s best interests in mind when he planted the drugs on him.
To prove how sorry he is Marlon offers to pay for Dylan to go to rehab and kick his drug habit.
Dylan accepts the offer and tells Marlon there’s no need for April to know what he did. Marlon is deeply grateful for Dylan being so understanding. But is the teen really prepared to forgive and forget so easily? Hmm, we’re not sure.

He reluctantly takes him back to Smithy Cottage, where April is waiting. Soon the atmosphere is tense as April lays into Dylan over the stolen ketamine, wanting to know why he did it.
Marlon is then left fearing the worst when Dylan announces he has something to tell April. Will he expose Marlon’s secret and risk destroying a family?
