Since her final scenes aired at the end of December, Daisy has been enjoying spending time with her boyfriend.

The actress has shared a rare picture of her man as they enjoyed a city break to Bratislava and Vienna.

Taking to Instagram, she shared a slew of pics from the busy holiday.

The trip involved lots of exploring, and taking in the culture.

Plus Daisy shared plenty of eating and drinking snaps, which saw her sipping a HUGE pint of beer.

The loved-up star also posted a cosy picture of her with her boyfriend Nick, who she credits with helping her through her Emmerdale axe.

BECOMING A STAR

Daisy bagged the role of Amelia Spencer in Emmerdale in 2011, when she was just seven-years-old.

Her character’s storylines included suffering from an eating disorder and becoming a teen mother.

However, last October it was revealed Daisy had been axed from the show, with her final scenes airing at Christmas.

Daisy told The Sun that she was so devastated that she “cried for weeks” and Nick was the one who helped her get through it.

“It was quite a year. I was always so focused on my career,” she told us.

“Finding love just happens when you don’t expect it. I first met Nick at school — he was a couple of years above me.

“It’s been a tough year. But now this has come out of the blue and I couldn’t be happier.”

She added: “It wasn’t my decision to leave the show but I’ve become a big believer in things happening for a reason.”

BEGGED TO BE KILLED OFF

Daisy was so upset when she was axed from Emmerdale that she “begged bosses” to close the door on her ever returning.

She told us: “I asked to be killed off. But that’s not what they wanted to do, and of course I respected that.”

Viewers watched over Christmas as her ­character decided to leave the Dales with daughter Esther.

Daisy said: “Now I’m glad the door has been left open because who knows what might happen.”

LOOKING TO THE FUTURE

Daisy revealed how she is looking to the future, which could see her join another soap.

There are plenty of stars who have switched soaps, which includes her former Emmerdale co-star Claire King, who enjoyed a stint in Coronation Street before returning as Kim Tate.

Daisy said: “I now firmly believe 2025 is a new beginning — and that’s exciting.”
