Vinny Dingle actor Bradley Johnson has teased there is heartbreak ahead for his character – as he continues to explore his sexuality on Emmerdale. The character kissed his friend Kammy in surprise scenes, prompting him to consider his own sexuality.

Bradley – who plays Vinny – has teased there is some hard scenes ahead as Vinny tries to cope with the harrowing attªck he was subjected to by Mike. He was attªcked as a young boy by his father Paul, something which has stuck with him in the recent years.

It comes after Mike’s true identity was revealed after Vinny leant on him for more support after wondering more about his sexuality. It has since been revealed that Mike was just using him and had planned to blackmail him for money to keep his secret from his wife to be. It comes after

Vinny doesn’t know whether to tell Gabby
Warning trouble was ahead, Bradley said: “We’ve got some really exciting stuff coming up, some hard but it’s really, really exciting. And without giving too much away, there’s a lot more to come with Vinny finding out who he is as a person.”

At the moment, Gabby has no idea that Vinny is struggling with his sexuality and Bradley is wondering whether their relationship can survive his confusion, as Vinny fears telling his bride to be the truth.

He said: “He’s more scared of hurting Gabby more than anyone, because he’s keeping a secret from her, and he’s not being that truthful with her. He cares a lot about Gabby and hurting her. Whether that love’s strong enough to keep them together, who knows.”

Bradley said he had no idea that this was where the storyline would go but he’s excited for the “shocking and emotional” scenes to air in the coming weeks – as he teased there would be drama ahead.

“I didn’t have a clue that it’s going to end up or be as big as what it’s going to be but it’s a story that I’m really excited to tell and I think it’s going to be shocking, emotional, exciting for the audience to watch. So, yeah, I’m really, really excited,” he shared.

Vinny was previously married to Liv, who was asexual. Tragically, she di3d in the storm after being crushed by a caravan. Vinny eventually moved on with Gabby – an unlikely pairing – but ahead of their engagement party, Gabby collapsed after going on a cr@sh diet and not eating and Vinny realised how much he loved her.
