Emmerdale‘s Jacob Gallagher meddles in Sarah Sugden and Kammy Hadiq’s relationship next week – determined to split them up.
As him and Charity unite to despatch Sarah’s boyfriend, Jacob ends up risking his own life to protect his ex…
“Jacob thinks Kammy is bad news and needs to go. As far as Jacob is concerned, he’s leading Sarah astray but she’s too smitten with him to see it,” our Emmerdale source explains.
“Jacob is convinced Sarah would fall back into his arms if Kammy wasn’t on the scene, but his efforts to get shot of him are getting increasingly elaborate – and dangerous.”

Charity shares Jacob’s concern for her granddaughter’s choice of suitor and the duo are secretly plotting to prove Kammy isn’t worthy of Sarah’s affections.
Unfortunately, trying to get Kammy arrested for stealing Cain’s car backfired as Jacob didn’t realise Sarah was the one who made him do it.
If Sarah thought Kammy was being unfaithful, though, surely that would make her give him the elbow?
Believing cocksure Kammy is a bit of a player who will inevitably break Sarah’s heart, Jacob reckons it won’t take much to expose him as a cheater.

Deciding this is a surefire route to wrecking the bad romance, Jacob sets out to engineer a situation where he can catch Kammy fooling around with another woman.
Canny Kammy is onto jealous Jacob’s interference, and knows he just wants old flame Sarah for himself. The boys’ mutual hatred threatens to boil over, and they almost publicly come to blows over their rivalry.
Needing a new approach, Jacob comes up with another way to impress Sarah, though he may end up regretting it…

“Jacob challenges Kammy to a dirt bike race,” our insider confirms. “Charity and Sam think this is a terrible idea, not to mention a dangerous one.
“How much does Jacob actually know about riding a dirt bike? Kammy’s shown he knows his way around a vehicle, but if this goes wrong it could leave Jacob seriously embarrassed – or in hospital.”
Brushing his apprehension aside, Jacob is confident he’ll beat his nemesis and look like a hero in Sarah’s eyes. Even so, Charity recommends Jacob does some proper preparation for the race to give him the best possible chance of victory.
Is Jacob underestimating how unsafe this could be?
