Travis Kelce’s ex, Kayla Nicole, is once again speaking out about him, his relationship with Taylor Swift, and her fan base.
Nicole said she gets “a lot of s–t” from trolls over the Kansas City Chiefs tight end’s relationship with “mega-superstar” Taylor Swift.
On the second episode of Fox‘s Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test, Jan. 8, the sports reporter and model revealed to fellow contestants that her ex-boyfriend was the three-time Super Bowl winner, adding, “he’s dating Taylor Swift.”
In her confessional, Kayla got candid about the aftermath of their split in 2022.
“Going through a public breakup, just to be frank, it’s been overwhelming,” Kayla Nicole stated in Wednesday’s episode of “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.”
“I’ve never experienced anything like it,” as she added that she has been “reduced to a headline to something so small as someone’s ex-girlfriend.”
Nicole described the Taylor Swift fans who constantly troll her as “exhausting.”
Despite the drama, the 33-year-old said she “liked” Swift and thinks she is “very talented.”
The model has been experiencing a whirlwind of emotions ever since the Kansas City Chiefs went public with the “Bad Blood” singer in September 2023.
Kayla Nicole stayed quiet for months, but social media would constantly bring her up anyway.
Kayla Nicole Issued Open Letter To ‘Black Women’ Amid Backlash From Fans
Nicole, who started dating Kelce in 2017, appeared on this season of FOX’s “Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test,” where she openly spoke about her last relationship and his new girl.
Once upon a time, she would remain quiet as he began his new relationship with Taylor Swift.
When she did break her silence, Kayla Nicole issued an open letter to “Black women specifically,” where she addressed the “backlash and embarrassment” she had dealt with over him dating such a high-profile woman.
“Preserve your heart even when they try to quantify your character and test your boundaries. … You do not have to respond. Because there is power in your silence,” she wrote in October 2023.
