Dawn’s confession came tonight (Monday, May 12) as she roused Billy’s suspicion by providing a fake alibi. He’d spent the day at the station, having been formally arrested for attempted murder.

Billy was released when Dawn told the police that she and Billy had been in bed together at the time, so he couldn’t have pushed Joe. However, Dawn’s reasons for lying didn’t add up to Billy, and he demanded answers.

He soon became convinced that she must know who really did it, and questioned whether Clemmie could have pushed Joe. It was then that Dawn blurted out the truth – telling Billy that it had been her.

Did Dawn push Joe on Emmerdale?
