Impractical Jokers has been the talk of the town and not because of what it’s about.

The premise of the show was to have hidden cameras around and Brian “Q” Quinn, James “Murr” Murray, Sal Vulcano and Joe Gatto would perform improvisational elements. Impractical Jokers made its debut in December 2011 and currently airing season 11. Joe shocked the world in December 2021 when he announced that he would be leaving Impractical Jokers after nine seasons.

Four years later, two women came forward and accused Joe of s3xual assault and s3xual harassment. Joe entered an in-patient facility after the allegations and even cancelled his upcoming scheduled tour dates.

Joe shared a statement to PEOPLE, which read: “Having taken some time to reflect, l’ve decided to voluntarily enter an inpatient program to continue working on myself. I just want to thank my friends, fans and especially my family for all of their support — never more so than over the last few days.”
