EXPLOSIVE RUMOR: GB News host Eamonn Holmes REUNITES with Ruth Langsford exactly one year after their SPLIT

Just one year after their very public split, Eamonn Holmes reportedly wants to be back in Ruth Langsford’s life, according to sources. It comes as the GB News host’s relationship with girlfriend Katie Alexander, 42, has allegedly hit a “rocky patch”.

According to Closer, a source said: “Eamonn has shocked pals after telling them he wants to be a family again with Ruth at Christmas. He knows he wasn’t always the dream husband, but he would still like to be friends and wants to rebuild that trust.”

They added: “He wants to change the dynamics. Currently, they are and remain amicable, but he wants more – he wants Ruth back in his life. After all, they are family.” The source went on to allege that despite Eamonn’s advances towards his ex-wife, she is no longer interested. “Ruth knew that this day would come, and Eamonn would come crawling back. But she’s no longer invested in him or their marriage – just their son, Jack,” they claimed.

The source also claimed that the ex-couple are on “common, civil ground” but it is still very “rocky”.

Ruth and Eamonn, both 65, first began their relationship in 1996. They presented This Morning together from 2006 to 2022. They had their son, Jack, in 2002 before tying the knot in 2010. Holmes has three children from his first marriage to Gabrielle Holmes, whom he married in 1985.

But in May of last year, after 27 years together and 14 years of marriage, the former power couple announced that they would be going their separate ways.

At the time, a spokesperson for the couple said that they had “confirmed their marriage is over and they are in the process of divorcing”.

Eamonn is now with his new girlfriend, Katie Alexander. It was initially reported that Eamonn and Katie, 42, connected on social media in 2015. However, subsequent claims suggested they actually met in 2012.

Katie’s ex-husband George, who she divorced in 2022 after 12 years of marriage, is said to have been a part of their early friendship. George, 53, joked that there was “flirting” between Katie and Eamonn, even quipping on X, previously known as Twitter: “Good job we’re both Red,” referencing their mutual support for Manchester United.
