SHE’S BACK? Helen Flanagan BREAKS SILENCE on Shock Coronation Street Comeback After 7 YEARS Away
Hold onto your teacups, Corrie fans—Helen Flanagan has just dropped a major hint that she might be heading back to Weatherfield.
The former soap star, who made her explosive debut as feisty Rosie Webster back in 2000, has teased a long-awaited return to the ITV classic, sending fans into a frenzy.
Known for her wild storylines—including that infamous affair with teacher-turned-kidnapper John Stape—Rosie left the cobbles in 2018. But now, seven years later, Helen says the door is “definitely not closed.”
Could we be gearing up for a Rosie Webster revival? If so, Weatherfield better brace itself…
After playing the role on and off for 18 years, Flanagan left Coronation Street in 2018 to have her second child. However, her character is still frequently mentioned on the soap by her parents.
Now, Flanagan has hinted that Rosie could be making a surprise return, as she is still on good terms with the Corrie team.

“I can’t say too much, but it could be possible that I could go back,” she told The Sun. “I get on with everyone there. There’s nothing personal going on.”
“It changed my life so much and my loyalty is with them. I feel like Rosie’s a part of me,” she reflected.

The star went on to highlight the importance of her character, saying: “They do need me. They do need Rosie.”
Meanwhile, Rosie’s dad Kevin would certainly be pleased to see her back amid his recent cancer storyline. The long-serving character was diagnosed with testicular cancer earlier this year, and is currently undergoing chemotherapy.
Terrified Kevin has been struggling to come to terms with the diagnosis and has been lashing out at his friends and family. Could Rosie return to support her dad?
