ROBIN Roberts has revealed a new project away from Good Morning America, but has gone missing from the morning show only hours later.
Robin shared a clip of her new project The Harlem Hellfighters to her Instagram account on Sunday night.

The film debuted on the History Channel on Sunday.
“Premiering tonight!” the 63-year-old captioned the clip she shared to Instagram.
The documentary tells the story of the Black combat unit of World War I.
Robin attended a screening ahead of its premiere last week.
However, after promoting the film, Robin was nowhere to be found on Monday’s episode of GMA.
In her stead was Linsey Davis during Monday’s broadcast.
Robin had been gone multiple days over the past week.
No mention was made about where she had been instead of her regular post.
She was likely promoting her new film at some point and had to take some time away to do that.
NIGHT OUT
Robin attended a screening of The Harlem Hellfighters during a night out in NYC last week.
She was missing the day prior after making an appearance there.
The anchor let loose in a pantsuit while making a speech.
She wore a black silk shirt underneath, and let loose when she let a few of the buttons up top undone.
The GMA host added black heels and jewelry to her look.
Robin posed with Selena Hill, an award-winning journalist and moderator for the night.
The event took place at the Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture at the New York Public Library.
Robin made a speech before the film that she produced, The Harlem Hellfighters was shown.
She was joined by historian and New York University Professor Jeffrey Sammons, James Reese Europe III (grandson of James Reese Europe), and Black Enterprise magazine’s Digital Editor Selena Hill.
THE HARLEM HELLFIGHTERS
Robin showed the premiere of the documentary to attendees before it airs for everyone on the History Channel on February 4 at 9 pm.
The one hour documentary is also narrated by Robin.
According to history.com, The Harlem Hellfighters “documents the hard fighting regiment of Black soldiers, who battled shocking racism at home and abroad while fighting the Germans in World War I.”
“The Hellfighters, who saw more time on the frontlines than any other American regiment, were initially heralded upon their return only to quickly be discarded by the Army and country they served so valiantly.”
The documentary tells the story of the brave group.
Hellfighters is a companion documentary to The Great War, which Robin promoted at the Sundance Film Festival last month.
The Great War’s release date has not yet been announced.
MORNING MADNESS
Robin returned to GMA last week after taking an abrupt absence at the end of last week.
She admitted that she needed a bit of “motivation” after feeling like she wanted to scream.
Before each day of work, Robin shares a video on social media with a morning message and prayer.
Monday’s message featured the host ready for the morning show in a body-hugging green dress.
Robin stood in her dressing room where she thanked fans for “starting a brand new week” with her.
She then encouraged listeners with a note about accomplishing your dreams, going after happiness, and not letting setbacks get you down.
Robin admitted people trying to get you down makes you want to “scream” – and then pressed a tiny goat figurine that literally screamed.
The message concluded with her insisting everyone’s had “bad breaks” but it’s important to have the right perspective and follow your passion.
“Good morning! Glam Fam & I hope you had a restful weekend,” she captioned the clip.
“Yes, it’s Monday & can make you wanna scream but how bout instead a lil #mondaymotivation.”
