HEARTBREAK! AARON Walks Away From JOHN After Discovering Shocking Secret — But Wedding Bells May Still Ring

John Sugden has got a whole lot of explaining to do in Emmerdale after fiancé Aaron Dingle found out what he has been hiding – but spoilers tell us he can win him back round.

It was Mack who delivered the news to John that his relationship was over after Aaron discovered his lies. But spoilers for upcoming episodes tell us that they lovers will reunite and there will be a wedding.

What happened in Emmerdale tonight?

After Victoria tracked down Connor, one of John’s old army mates, and found out Aidan Moore is still alive, she confronted her brother. He explained he had tried to save Aidan, made the wrong call and it put him in a coma from which he will never wake up.

John insisted he had lied Aidan was dead because he might as well have killed him and it was easier than explaining the truth. Of course viewers know Aidan is the victim of John’s hero syndrome, he tried to save him and be the hero, but like with Nate Robinson, it went terribly wrong.

Victoria sympathised and said she understood, but insisted he had to tell Aaron. John was understandably reluctant to, worried he would lose him.

But the decision was taken out of his hands when Mackenzie bumped into Connor. Mack found out who Connor was and asked for stories for his best man speech. But ended up also finding out the truth about Aidan. Of course Mack went straight round to tell Aaron.

When John turned up later, ready to tell Aaron everything, Mack greeted him at the door. He told John Aaron never wants to see him again and they were over for good.

Emmerdale spoilers reveal it’s not the end of John and Aaron

Although John has not had the chance to explain (thanks for that, Mack) it seems the couple will reunite. Danny Miller has revealed that the wedding day will arrive – which confirms John and Aaron will get back together.

In an interview with the Metro, Danny said: “It’s a typical soap wedding, I guess. There are a lot of surprises along the way, it’s not a normal wedding in terms of it being straight-forward; it’s very different.”

He continued: “They decided to show a new way of how we tell stories, to try and keep up with Netflix and Amazon and these brilliant dramas being made. So it’s a bit of a special episode, there are a fair few surprises, a couple that are huge and a couple that people will really enjoy – and some that people won’t!

“It’s good to get people talking. There are some really big moments in there that will blow the audience’s minds. To be a part of that is amazing.”

So whilst we don’t know exactly what’s to come, we do know this is not the end for Aaron and John – not by a long shot.
