HEARTBREAKING: Celebrity Traitors’ Lucy Beaumont makes Surprise ANNOUNCEMENT about Serious Health Condition

Comedian Lucy Beaumont has previously shared that she was diagnosed with ADHD as an adult. The star – who is currently appearing on the BBC’s Celebrity Traitors – revealed that she had ADHD two years ago, saying that it was “interesting being 40 and suddenly understanding a part of yourself when previously you’ve just thought you were a little bit unhinged.”
She explained that her brain resists organisation, making everyday tasks tiring, reports the Daily Record. “It means your brain doesn’t want you to organise things,” said Lucy, who split from Jon Richardson last year.

“For some reason, it doesn’t want to make life easy for you. I’ll get from A to B but I’ll exhaust myself doing it. The brain chatter of just going for a cup of tea with a friend,” she said.
However, her neurodiverse perspective also brings creative benefits, especially in comedy.
“You can’t get more neurodiverse than Basil Fawlty,” she joked.
“You’re also in denial as well, and there’s nothing funnier than being flawed.”

As a veteran comedian, Lucy has made appearances on numerous comedy panel shows, including Would I Lie To You?, The Last Leg, and Have I Got News For You.
She and Jon also starred on Meet The Richardsons together.
The couple had tied the knot in 2015, reportedly after fellow comic Roisin Conaty introduced them, and they had daughter Elsie the subsequent year. But in April last year they shared that they were ending their relationship.
They said in a statement at the time: “After nine years of marriage, we would like to announce that we have separated. We have jointly and amicably made the difficult decision to divorce and go our separate ways.”
“As our only priority is managing this difficult transition for our daughter, we would ask that our privacy is respected at this sensitive time to protect her well-being,” they went on.
Lucy is currently appearing in the celebrity edition of The Traitors, where she is sharing the castle with the likes of Alan Carr, Jonathan Ross, Stephen Fry, Charlotte Church, Kate Garraay and Tom Daley.
