HEARTBREAKING: Coleen Nolan has opened up on what the ITV changes mean for the Loose Women panel as she made an emotional admission

Loose Women panellist Coleen Nolan has emotionally opened up on how the ITV cuts will impact her and her colleagues. The 60-year-old admitted that things are often very different to what is alleged to happen behind the scenes as she made an emotional admission about her co-stars.

Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Coleen shared her worries about the cuts, which will see Loose Women air less often and lose their studio audience. She said: “Our main concern with Loose Women is going to still be what it’s always been and that is to deliver a fun and topical, give the audience what they want kind of show. I don’t think that’s going to change at all. Of course, it’s been difficult with the changes for some of our colleagues that we have worked with for years but we are still going to have room for the Loose Women brand, and that isn’t going to change.”

Remaining as upbeat as possible, Coleen shared: “It’s going to be a new studio and we will get more breaks. The thing is, with anything like that, life is hard for everyone at the moment and it is sad but everyone is being so supportive.”

Coleen opened up on her co-stars also being supportive when she found it hard returning to work after the d3ath of her sister, Linda. “It was so hard, but I have to credit my management and the Loose team for helping me get back to myself,” she shared.

“They were all just so caring and just said for me to come back when I was ready. I am very lucky because I am surrounded, contrary to what is always printed, by supportive women that I love. They are like my second family, really.

“They all embraced me when I went back, as did the people behind the scenes. And the public. I don’t think I could have gotten through it without the support of the public either.”

The ITV star shared that she found Linda’s d3ath especially difficult because “at the end it was so quick”. She said: “She went from being absolutely fine and then not. I saw her the day before, and we were laughing, and I thought she was going to pull through.

“But then I got a call literally hours after I left saying that I needed to come back. So it was quite shocking and it hit me so hard. In the first couple of weeks after she d!ed, I just completely lost my mojo. Nothing excited me. I was going through the motions of every day life but not feeling any of it. But then I thought if I don’t take control of this, I am going to lose control.”

Coleen then made the decision to turn to a therapist, who she still sees now, as she said that he has helped her massively and it is the best thing that she could have done.

The Loose Women star has now announced that she is working on an exciting new project away from the ITV talk show, where she will show off the “real and raw” her. The 60-year-old star has announced that she is hitting the road for a joyous celebration of life, love, and laughter with her brand new live show, ‘This Is Me,’ which will tour across the UK in 2026.
