HEARTBREAKING: Eamonn Holmes abruptly halts GB News interview for URGENT ANNOUNCEMENT
GB News presenter Eamonn Holmes stopped a conversation in its tracks for an update on some breaking news. Mid conversation, the TV host said: “I just need to cut and interject, Ellie, there is applause, what is that?” Ellie then gave an update as images were coming through to the show of Red Cross vans.
Ellie Costello told the audience that the vehicles were driving through and that confirmation had come through that the first seven h0stages had been handed over.
The channel shared a live video as the vehicles drove through the streets; Ellie added: “So there’s live pictures of Red Cross vehicles moving through packed streets in Gaza. No confirmation of who is inside those vehicles or which direction they’re going in. We did get that confirmation earlier that the first seven h0stages had been transferred to the Red cross inside Gaza, but they’re making their way now into Israel.”
Ellie added: “They’ll be received onto a military base first, reunited with their families, we can see the helicopters there at the military base waiting in Southern Israel.
“They’ll meet with their families, be reunited with their families for the first time in two years and then be taken to hospital where we imagine they will need urgent care.
It comes shortly after Eamonn and Ellie welcomed Dawn Neesom on the show to discuss Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s role in the peace deal.
She said on the show: “Basically, Keir Starmer has claimed we have had more to play in this peace deal than we literally have.”
She explained that Mike Huckabee, United States Ambassador to Israel, has criticised the claim, stating it is “delusional”.
Dawn added: “We’re claiming a lot of credit here. I don’t think we’ve done hardly anything at all.”
Eamonn paused the interview yet again for additional breaking news as they spoke to Richard Tice about Starmer’s involvement as Air Force One prepared to land.
Tice claimed that Starmer was “literally gatecrashing Donald Trump’s success”, he added that the Israel government are “furious” with Keir Starmer and said the “gatecrash” is ridiculous.
The red carpet was laid out for Trump to exit the plane as the hosts announced another breaking news that he would receive the highest level of honour from the Israel government.
