Emmerdale’s Belle Dingle (played by Eden Taylor-Draper) has finally found her spark again since putting her harrowing ordeal with Tom King (James Chase) behind her. Belle was mentally and physically abused by her ex-husband, who was sentenced to three years in prison at the end of last year. Belle has been enjoying spending time with Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) after they agreed to go on a few dates. But Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) is about to cut their romance short as she informs Belle that Kammy attacked Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson).
Fans are aware that Vinny was actually beaten up by a man named Mike, who blackmailed Vinny after he opened up about the confusions he was facing about his sexuality. Mike revealed he had recorded every conversation he had with Vinny before brutally attacking him and demanding £10,000, which he received.
Desperate for his fiance Gabby to not find out the truth, Vinny claimed it was Kammy who attacked him. In upcoming scenes, when Gabby tells Belle what happened to Vinny, she is shaken to realise that she’s been taken in by a violent man once again.
Approaching Kammy at the garage, Belle calls time on their short-lived romance. Despite Kammy protesting his innocence, Belle questions why Vinny would lie and says she can’t be with someone like her ex.
Upon hearing about the breakdown of their budding romance, Vinny’s wracked with guilt. But when Belle arrives for a chat, Vinny cannot bring himself to tell her the truth about what really happened to him, but reassures her that Kammy’s a good person.

Vinny later finds Kammy and apologises to him for ruining his chances with Belle. When a gutted Kammy refuses to accept his apology and ends their friendship, Vinny’s guilt only increases.
Seeing Belle in the Woolpack, Kammy asks her for another chance, but is gutted when she refuses to take a risk on him after all she went through with Tom.
Later that day, Vinny’s gutted to see how disappointed Belle is about Kammy and kicks himself for all the trouble he’s caused.
