HEARTBREAKING: Good Morning Britain show is CANCELED due to SERIOUS WARNING leaving viewers HEARTBREAKING

Good Morning Britain had a disappointing update for viewers on Friday, ahead of Monday’s Bank Holiday. Chief correspondent Richard Gaisford warned of “serious issues on the horizon” as he reported on travel disruption expected across the country on the weekend.
Many Brits will be looking for a change of scenery on the August Bank Holiday weekend, but traffic tailbacks and rail strikes are expected to cause mayhem for travellers. The disruption could be so severe on some parts of the rail network that people are being advised not to travel at all. Speaking live from King’s Cross Station in London, the GMB star warned: “If you are waking up this morning thinking that you are going away this Bank Holiday but haven’t made the plans yet, then now is the time to start paying attention. There are some quite serious issues on the horizon, certainly for people using the rail and car networks.”

The reporter went on to share that there will be an RMT strike across the weekend, with no cross-country train services on Saturday. Engineering works are also taking place on the West Coast Mainline, causing disruption for the full weekend.
The train track between London and Peterborough will also be closed on Sunday, wreaking more havoc. Richard warned: “So many rail journeys are going to take that much longer – twice as long in many cases this Bank Holiday. So you might think ‘let’s just get into the car’, but that’s not quite so easy.”
He then shared that up to three million separate car journeys are expected across the country just today (Friday). There are already 40-minute delays expected on the M5 and 20-minute delays on the M20, but Richard warned: “It could get longer if there are accidents.”
The journalist also noted that even taking a plane might not be any less chaotic, as he said: “There are even delays there, I am afraid.”
Fans at home were not best pleased with the update. Taking to X/Twitter, one viewer complained: “But didn’t Labour say they’d sorted the problem and they’d stopped the strikes when they gave their union paymasters unconditional mass pay rises in July 2024?!”
One more added: “They do this every Bank Holiday!!! And we pay more and more for this poor excuse for a service… time the regulators stepped in.” Meanwhile, a third said: “Does anything work in this country?”
