HEARTBREAKING NEWS: Good Morning America Crew Left HEARTBROKEN and in SH0CK as They Mourn the Sudden and Painful LOSS of Beloved Colleague

There have been a lot of shakeups when it comes to ABC and popular programs like Good Morning America. Based on the latest updates making the rounds, the GMA crew and ABC family are mourning a major loss. So, what happened with this situation?
Good Morning America Is a Tight-Knit Crew
Good Morning America is a program at the top of its game. Millions of viewers regularly tune in to the show to keep up with all the latest comings and goings, which keeps viewers in the loop with all the important news happening in real-time.
Good Morning America regularly wins the battle for viewers against other programs in the same space like Today and CBS Mornings. This is due in large part not just to the famous faces who deliver the news, like Robin Roberts and Michael Strahan, but also due to the hardworking crew behind the scenes who make sure that everything runs smoothly.
Even though the program has a lot of moving parts, Good Morning America is a team that stays at the top of its game, and the results certainly speak for themselves.

GMA Crew Mourns Painful Loss
Because the Good Morning America crew works so well together, it’s always a tough pill to swallow whenever they have to lose one of their own. Based on the latest updates making the rounds, Michele Mayer, who has been working as the stage manager for both ABC News and Good Morning America for over 30 years, is officially hanging it up and calling it quits.

Mayer is leaving the Big Apple to return to her home state of Kentucky, and the entire ABC and Good Morning America family is in shock and denial over losing someone who was such a fixture for so long. Mayer started as a teleprompter operator in the mid-90s and had worked her way up in the time since.
David Muir recently said of Mayer, “I am still in denial about all this. I can’t believe Shelly is leaving. My partner in crime out there…you deserve this, Shelly, go home to Kentucky, back with your family and the horses and the beautiful countryside…I don’t know what I’m going to do.”
Even Diane Sawyer chimed in, saying of Mayer, “We were just two Kentucky girls who got to the big city. She was hilarious when you needed a laugh and, most of all, she is and always will be a person who cares passionately about what we do.”
Ginger Zee wrote, “@8michele8 is an institution. Going to miss you dearly. Sending you all the sunshine.”
