HEARTBREAKING: This Morning’s Josie Gibson Left ‘TERRIFIED’ as She Makes a HEARTBREAKING ANNOUNCEMENT That Stuns Viewers
Fan-favourite Josie Gibson has revealed that she found a “big lump” in her breast back in 2023. As a result, she was forced to undergo surgery to remove it.
The This Morning favourite, 40, is mum to son Reggie, six. She shot to fame on Big Brother back in 2010.
Three years after finding fame, Josie underwent a boob job which took her from a B cup to a DD. However, 10 years on, she was back in hospital after finding a lump that left her concerned she had breast cancer.

Josie Gibson in cancer scare
Speaking to The Sun, Josie revealed that she had her implants removed after finding “a big lump” in her breast. She said the find left her feeling “really worried”.
Josie told the paper: “I had a big lump underneath my left boob and I was getting really worried about it. You could actually see it protruding — you could see the breast had changed shape, so I was getting a little bit frightened.”
Star now has ‘peace of mind’
Josie said she then booked an appointment with her doctor, who told her the protruding lump was her implant. As a result, it was decided that the best option was to have them removed.
“I went to my GP and he had a feel around — it was my breast implant. I went and I had them out and, for me, it was one of the best things I’ve done.”
Josie added that, after 10 years of having her implants, she had no regrets over having them removed, saying the op gave her “peace of mind”.

Health problems and huge weight loss
It’s the first time that Josie has opened up about the cancer scare. But she has previously spoken about a number of health issues she’s faced.
In April of this year she revealed that she’d been diagnosed with gout. Two months before that, she was holidaying overseas and, while brushing her teeth, the vanity unit collapsed and fell on her foot. She was left with soft tissue trauma and an attractive boot and crutches.
Josie also lost a huge amount weight after leaving the Big Brother house, and has been open about her struggles with her weight.
The presenter – who is back on This Morning this summer as a stand-in presenter – revealed she used to call herself and her friend ‘The Big Girls’ on nights out before losing six stone.
