Over the last few weeks, Today show fans have been concerned about longtime weather anchor Al Roker. He’s been battling ongoing issues with blood clots and even had to miss hosting the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade for the first time in 27 years. But as he continues to go in and out of the hospital, his wife Deborah Roberts wants his fans to know how much they appreciate the support.

In a recent photo added to her Instagram stories, the ABC journalist shared with her followers an uplifting message. Showing a picture of a latte with a heart design, she captioned it “Faith and gratitude.” But that wasn’t the only thing she had to say. Adding a quick photo to Instagram of the fountains in front of New York’s Metropolitan Museum of Art, she thanked everyone who was sending her family positive prayers.

“Sunday. The dawn of a new day, a new week, renewed hope,” she wrote on December 4. “Appreciate all the #prayers more than we can say. #optimism #faith #grateful.”

Today show fans were happy to see Deborah offer up kind words and began sharing more words of support in the comments section.

“Continued prayers for Al’s healing, and for you and your family’s strength.💕🙏🏾💕🙏🏾,” one person wrote. “Anticipating good news for Al🙏🏾🙏🏾❤️,” a different user added. “Sending prayers and love to you and your family, and for Al to recover fully from his health issues! ❤️🙏,” one more replied.

Apart from Al and Deborah’s fans on Instagram, Al’s Today show co-stars Hoda Kotb, Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, Carson Daly, Jenna Bush Hager, Dylan Dreyer, Sheinelle Jones and Willie Geist all recently took part in filming a holiday video, where they were seen holding up cutouts of the missing host’s face.

This also came a few days after Savannah and Hoda gave viewers some insight into how their co-host was doing during his hospital stay.

“He’s resting and his doctors are keeping a close eye on him,” Hoda told viewers on December 1. “Al and his family want everybody to know how grateful they are for all the love, the support and the well wishes.”

What’s more, Al himself spoke out about what was going on in mid-November. Posting a picture of a flower bouquet, he explained how he developed a blood clot in his leg that eventually spread to his lungs. At the time, he assured fans he was getting the best health care and said he was ready to get back out in front of the camera.
