HEARTWARMING FARM UPDATE: Emmerdale Star Kelvin Fletcher And Wife Liz Break Silence On INCREDIBLE Update From Family Farm—But What’s Really Going On?

Emmerdale star Kelvin Fletcher and his wife Liz have issued an “amazing” update from their family farm.

The couple, who have been married since 2015, notably bought a 120-acre plot of land in the Cheshire village of Wincle back in 2021.

They have since set up a farm on the land, with their efforts being filmed for a BBC TV series, Kelvin’s Big Farming Adventure, which aired in 2022.

In 2023, the pair’s rural endeavours continued to charm viewers with their new ITV series, titled Fletchers’ Family Farm. The second season launched in April, receiving enthusiastic praise from fans.

Kelvin and Liz joined Lorraine Kelly on her ITV show on Wednesday (June 11) morning, chatting live from their farm amidst the busy farming season.

During the interview, the couple excitedly informed viewers about their farm animals and their participation in upcoming county shows, reports Cheshire Live.

Kelvin and Liz Fletcher appeared on ITV’s Lorraine on Wednesday (June 11)

“This time of year is when all the county shows happen and that’s not just an amazing day out for the family, it means that you get to take your livestock to the show and get to give them an absolute makeover,” Liz explained.

“We’ll wash them, shine them, spray them with glitter and we’ll get to present them. They’re judged and hopefully we’ll come home with a rosette.”

Kelvin added: “It’s like Crufts for farming… We’re going there to show our breed off and tell the judges what’s great about our animals.”

Liz also explained that their three-year-old twins, Mateusz and Maximus, would help them present one of the cows during a fair.

“It’s definitely a family affair. We went last year to the Royal Cheshire County Show, which we’ll be going to again this year, but the twins will be with us,” she expressed.

“They’re old enough, and we’re hoping they’re going to present one of the cows.”

Kelvin then shared that post-lambing season, things are looking up on the farm, with the lambs now “thriving” out in the fields, and revealed their plans to seed some spring oats soon.

“It’s wonderful that you’ve got the balance right. You can still put on your finery and go to awards ceremonies and even do that with your cows,” commented Lorraine.

Kelvin and Liz notably appeared at the British Soap Awards last week with their daughter, Marnie, to present the award for Best Family.

Reflecting on the event with Lorraine, Kelvin remarked, “I was at the first ever Soap Awards so it was, kind of, a comeback full circle for me. To be there this time with, obviously, my wife and with Marnie, who’s in Hollyoaks, it was just a lovely moment celebrating what a great year we’ve had in soap.”

Lorraine airs weekdays on ITV1 at 9am. Fletchers’ Family Farm is available to stream on ITVX
