Heidi Klum’s 19-year-old son Henry Samuel made his striking magazine cover debut for Hunger magazine, Issue 34: “Fight Back.”

In the black-and-white image, Samuel is captivating the camera with a smoldering pout, wearing only a suit jacket and trousers.

“Stepping into the spotlight in a big way, Henry made his runway debut opening for Lena Erziak at Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week. Now here’s his first-ever magazine cover, captured by Rankin wearing Karl Lagerfeld for Hunger,” read the caption for Hunger magazine’s March 17 Instagram post, teasing followers to “Stay tuned for the full story.”

Klum also shared the cover image of Samuel on her Instagram, gushing in the caption, “So proud of you, my beautiful Henry!”

 

“Your first cover for @hungermagazine — what an incredible milestone! Watching you grow into the amazing young man you are today fills my heart with so much joy,” the America’s Got Talent Judge continued. “The world is just beginning to see what I’ve always known — you are destined for greatness! I love you @henrysamle.”

The latest issue of Hunger might be Samuel’s first magazine cover, but he made his fashion runway debut back in January 2025. Samuel walked in the Lena Erziak Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2025 show at Hôtel le Marois, part of Paris Fashion Week.

“For walking the runway, I guess not being like the ‘turtle’ — just keeping my posture up, and straightening my back and just looking forward,” he told Vogue Germany backstage at the show when sharing what he kept in mind while perfecting his strut.

He revealed to Vogue Germany that his older sister, Leni Klum, 20, who is also a model, advised him “to straighten my gaze and walk like I was balancing a book on my head.” Adding that his mom “told me to do my best and remember to have fun.”

Samuel isn’t the only one of Klum’s children to follow in her modeling footsteps. Her oldest daughter, Leni, actually made her modeling debut on the cover of Vogue Germany alongside her mom. Klum also has two other children, Johan, 18, and Lou, 15.

“That’s, like, insane that I did that as my first job and my mom was with me, which made it so much fun,” she told People in 2022. “It was just such a good day. I wasn’t nervous at all. I was just so excited. I was like, ‘I’m finally modeling and it’s Vogue.’ It was just so many things to be excited about.”
