Hoda Kotb found herself in quite a unique situation — and Savannah Guthrie had to call her out for it in the best way.
The former Today co-host went to New Orleans for the 2025 Super Bowl, where she participated in plenty of events leading up to the game. When it came time for the star-studded sporting event itself, Hoda made sure to document all the people she met throughout the night on Instagram. One such person she ran into was former Yellowstone star Kevin Costner, someone whom she’s been open about having a crush on in the past. And naturally, she had to comment how thrilling it was to be at one of the biggest nights in sports.

Given how Hoda has openly expressed how she wouldn’t mind dating Kevin, seeing the photo with the actor had Savannah immediately taking to the comments with her thoughts. She not only tagged Jenna Bush Hager in the reply, she also joked how the two needed to become Hollywood’s next romantic duo.
“New couple alert cc @jennabhager 🚨,” she replied.
When fans saw how Savannah reacted to Hoda and Kevin’s candid moment together, they couldn’t help but crack up at Savannah’s hyping skills.

Now, this is a couple we absolutely could get behind! And as fans may remember, Hoda has been on a dating journey since she ended her relationship with Joel Schiffman in 2022. And when Kevin stopped by the Today show back in June 2024, their chemistry certainly came across on the air.
As for how Hoda would feel about getting into a relationship with Kevin, she definitely wouldn’t be opposed to it. “Well, if the viewers want it!” she cheekily told Jenna in July 2024 after discussing the conversation being brought up on an appearance on Watch What Happens Live.
