The 19-year-old daughter of Emmerdale actress Sammy Winward has claimed her mum is jealous of her success on subscription-based site OnlyFans

An OnlyFans model has claimed her celebrity mum is “jealous” of her successful job on the adult site.

The teen daughter of Sammy Winward, who played Katie Sugden on Emmerdale, says her mum said “some pretty mean things” regarding her decision to sell racy images. Mia, 19, claimed she earns £100,000 per month for selling the snaps.

However, it was reported last summer that Sammy and Mia no longer talk. At the time, Mia said she hadn’t spoken to her mum in around four months. She put their estrangement down to a disagreement over the teen’s decision to join the subscription-based site. Mia also claimed the rift in her family extended further, having fallen out with her dad too. Mia’s dad, David Dunn, is also used to life in the spotlight, having been a professional footballer.

Now, as she touched on their fractured relationship, Mia says her mum is “jealous” of her success on OnlyFans. She added Sammy has refused to move past their disagreement. Mia said she made £100,000 last month and that the “main thing with her mum” is that she “had Mia when she was really young”.

Speaking in a new interview with The Sun, Mia said: “I think she’s got some animosity towards me. I think she is maybe just jealous about me doing so well and so quickly.”

She added: ” I think that’s what my parents’ issue is really. They think I’ve done it off their backs, but actually, behind the scenes, it takes a lot more work than just being their daughter.”

Mia went on to explain that while she appreciates her family are only looking out for her and hopes, she is happy in her work. She admitted she hopes that one day they will “move on” from the situation and “rebuild” their rocky relationship. Mia also confessed that being on the site isn’t a long-term career plan. However, she revealed it is helping her earn enough money to get into the property business.

Speaking last year about her decision to join the site, Mia said: “I feel so empowered on OnlyFans. I am my own boss and I’m confident in myself and what I’m doing.” She also claimed that since joining, she earns ten times more money than she used to for “about three days work”.

Three years ago, Sammy had been celebrating Mia signing with an acting agent. She took to Instagram at the time to share her pride by unveiling Mia’s new professional headshot. She wrote alongside the snap: “16 next week @miawinwarddunn following in my footsteps (even though she’s a better actress then I ever was at that age!) with a new agent @scream_management, a new headshot by the amazing Colin Boulter @neilson_photo_actors and entering into the crazy world of acting.”
