Hoda Kotb took her love for New Orleans on the road and attended the 2025 Super Bowl at Caesars Superdome.
The former TODAY co-anchor captioned her carousel of pics, “Oh what funnnnn!!!” and added the hashtag #nolastrong, in reference to the city’s resilience after the Jan. 1 terror attack on Bourbon Street that killed 14 people. Hoda has called New Orleans her “second home.” Before she started working at NBC, she was a local news reporter in the Big Easy for several years.

In Hoda’s post, she included pics of herself with friends and Eagles fan Declan LeBaron, 9, who was surprised with tickets to the Super Bowl on TODAY Feb. 4. Hoda also shared a picture of herself with actor Kevin Costner, sparking funny reactions from Savannah Guthrie and Jenna Bush Hager.
“New couple alert,” Savannah commented, leaning into a long-running joke about Hoda and the “Yellowstone” actor.
“We have been waiting for this moment,” Jenna added.
For the uninitiated, Hoda interviewed Costner on TODAY in June 2024, catching the attention of fans. The next month, she was surprised to learn on “Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen” that fans “ship” her with Costner, meaning they want them to be a couple.
“Wait, what?” Hoda responded at the time.
At Super Bowl 59, the Philadelphia Eagles beat the Kansas City Chiefs 40-22.
