INSIDE STORY: Diane Parish REACTS to EastEnders’ LIVE Episode Outcome as Denise Chooses Jack Over Ravi
EastEnders star Diane Parish has confirmed Denise Fox’s future after the recent fan vote which saw her choose Jack Branning over Ravi Gulati.

During the soap’s 40th anniversary celebrations, viewers were given control of Denise’s complicated love life with an online vote to determine her future.
Denise’s marriage had reached an all-time low after Jack’s continuing affair with Stacey Slater was revealed, with the couple subsequently separating.
Denise revisited her romantic spark with bad boy Ravi, though a love triangle quickly formed after Denise realised there were still feelings between her and Jack. She ultimately decided to give their marriage another chance, leaving Ravi heartbroken.
“It was definitely the choice I thought viewers would make,” Parish told TV Times magazine. “For whatever reason, they ended up making a big story choice, because it now branches off into all different areas.”

Following their reunion, Jack and Denise’s relationship seems to be going smoothly, though Parish has warned viewers not to get too comfortable with the couple as things can quickly change in Walford.
“It’s never a full-stop chapter,” she teased. “It was a nice thing to involve the audience and give them the opportunity to take part in something as exciting as an interactive vote – but the bosses are back in charge now!”
While some fans were unhappy with the result of the vote, which was revealed during the special live episode, Parish shared how co-star Aaron Thiara – who plays Ravi – felt about the rejection.

“I don’t think he’s gutted!” said Parish of her co-star. “When it was first suggested about Denise and Ravi [getting together], I was like, ‘Do what?!’, because he’s considerably younger than I am!
“But as an actor, I’d struggle to discover a more mature, insightful, generous and emotionally-intelligent actor than Aaron. He was exciting to work with, and he takes things in his stride. He’s chilled, and pleased in terms of it being Scott Maslen [who plays Jack]. It’s all good!”
