British Soap Awards 2025 airdate confirmed – here’s when fans can watch on ITV
The British Soap Awards 2025 have confirmed its airdate for ITV.
The ceremony celebrating the best of the last year of soaps will air on Thursday 5 June from 8pm to 10pm.
That means that the scheduled Emmerdale episodes planned for that night will air between 7pm and 8pm.
The actual in-person ceremony will take place at the Hackney Empire in London on Saturday 31 May, with Jane McDonald hosting.
Emmerdale and EastEnders have leading the pack in terms of nominations, with both of them nominated 13 times across 12 categories.
Both Coronation Street and Hollyoaks aren’t far off, however, as they both have 11 nominations each.
You can read the full of nominees right here, and you can vote in multiple categories before the 30 May at the British Soap Awards website.

The ceremony took a year off last year, and McDonald is absolutely stoked to host again for the first time since 2023.
“I’m beyond excited to be hosting The British Soap Awards again as I had such a ball hosting the awards last time,” she said.
“You all know I love my soaps, so to be in a room giving recognition to all these wonderful actors and their fantastic hard work is simply joyous.
“I can’t wait to get my glittery frock on and celebrate with everyone.”

Meanwhile, Coronation Street said goodbye to a long-running character in the latest episode tonight and their actor has spoken out about their departure.
They talked about learning they were leaving, what it was like on their final day of filming, and whether they’d ever return to the soap.
