Coronation Street has confirmed school bully Mason will be imprisoned for his crimes, but fans are convinced there is a twist in store on the ITV soap

Coronation Street has aired a big exit for bully Mason – as he was convicted tonight.
Mason has tried to get Dylan to lie about him carrying and threatening Liam with a knife, but in a big turn of events this evening, as Dylan faced Mason in court, he decided to tell the truth about all that went on.
It led to the judge deciding Mason’s fate, and it looks like an exit is on the cards for the young teenager as she explained he would have to face a custodial sentence as he had been convicted of possessing a knife before.
However, fans have rumbled a twist as Mason found himself heading for j.a.i.l. One fan wrote: “Mason has been found guilty and will get imprisonment Corrie CoronationStreet itvcorrie,” whilst a second added: “So Mason has threatened someone else with a knife before. I wonder if we’ll meet them at some point? Corrie.”

Mason faced court as Dylan and Liam watched on
A third viewer took to social media to share: “Well Mason, shouldn’t have been a twit now should you? I’m guessing this is gonna become darker with the threats from his mates. Corrie.”
Speaking about the dark storylines, Mason star Luca Toolan insists him, Liam and Charlie are best friends in real life.
“I think because I’m so close with Liam and Charlie, it’s a lot easier. if I wasn’t really close with them and I didn’t spend as much time with them, I’d probably find it more difficult but because we have that bond and trust each other so much, it’s a lot easier. My favourite film is The Joker, so I like looking at characters that are damaged. One thing I really want to do with a character is show the vulnerable side. So there’s a lot of room and a very high ceiling for the exploration of the character,” he said.”
Luca is hopeful that one day, the soap can explore why Mason is the way he is.
He added: “He’s a very angry and disturbed soul. People are like that for reasons. Hopefully in the future, we might be able to explore a bit more of why he’s become the way he’s become. But the advice I would give to him is go to therapy and get the help he needs.”
