Celebrities have accidents too!

During an appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on Thursday, April 17, Jelly Roll and Luke Bryan were asked to reveal the “most embarrassing thing” that’s happened to them while performing.

The “Need a Favor” singer was first to answer: “I pooped myself one time.”

“I did, I’m sorry,” Jelly Roll, 40, said, as Hudson, 43, and Bryan, 48, burst into laughter.

“I didn’t know. I was confident it was all air,” he continued in the since-privated video. “I’m so sorry. I watched this crowd go from loving me to just being completely out.”

He concluded, “I overshared again.”

In February, Jelly announced he was joining season 23 of American Idol as its first-ever “Artist in Residence.” In the new role, Jelly will help judges Bryan, Carrie Underwood and Lionel Richie prep contestants for their performances as they vie for the winning title.

On April 26, Jelly is returning to Stagecoach as a headliner. Last year, he brought his 16-year-old daughter on stage and had the crowd sing happy birthday to her.

“In, like, 10 days, she will be 16 years old … But hey, I figured it would be a really cool dad way to embarrass her if I can do the old ‘Happy birthday to you,'” Jelly said at the time, as the crowd continued the song for him.

He also brought out T-Pain and together they performed a tribute to the late Toby Keith, who died at age 62 in February 2024 following his stomach cancer diagnosis.

In an interview with Variety in April of last year, the “Save Me” singer said Keith inspired him to pursue country music following years as a rapper.

“He was an outlier. He was unapologetically Oklahoma. There are a lot of things he did that encouraged me and empowered me,” he told the outlet. “He was very individualistic and carved his own path and he did it his own way, from pillar to post. He never knew it, but he was a mentor to me, just watching him from afar.”

Keith’s son, Stelen, had previously give Jelly his stamp of approval on his cover of “Should’ve Been a Cowboy,” which he released exclusively on Amazon Music. “Toby’s son saw me at the CMTs and took me to the side and said, ‘Hey man, I want to let you know I’ve seen a video of you covering this song, and I think it’s one of the best versions of it ever. And I think you honor my father.’ And it just meant so much to me,” he said.

Meanwhile, in May, Jelly will join Post Malone on the road for The Big Ass Stadium Tour throughout North America.
