Jenna Bush Hager Delivers HEARTFELT Goodbye To Another ‘Today’ Show Friend – Viewers Notice Growing Pattern Of Exits Nobody Wants To Talk About

Jenna Bush Hager recently said farewell to her co-host Hoda Kotb earlier this year. Since then, she’s also recently had to see another colleague leave Today. However, it might not be the last the two have seen of each other. In addition, Hager, and fans, have taken to social media to send out tributes to her colleague.
Jenna Bush Hager Has Recently Seen Multiple Colleagues Come & Go On Today
Hager has been part of NBC News and Today since 2009, working as a correspondent for The Today Show. By 2019, she started co-hosting Today‘s fourth hour with Hoda Kotb, taking over for Kathie Lee Gifford.
The fourth hour would see another big change earlier this year with Kotb herself leaving. Fans would see her final day on the show on January 10, 2025. Since then, Hager has been hosting the series alongside a number of guest hosts.

Taking to Instagram on Friday, June 13, 2025, Hager paid tribute to her friend Julia Plant, who she had worked with for three years. The two even appeared in front of the Today with Jenna & Friends logo.
Some Fans Suspect They Already Know What Julia’s Next Job Will Be
As Hager wrote in the caption, “This queen @jplantstagram has been such a wonderful addition to our team and personally to my life! For three years, she has been by my side through it all and I couldn’t respect her more!”
“Today she is moving to a new position (with me, luckily!) but I will miss our 7:50 am meetings every day! If you know Julia, you love her! So excited for what’s to come and grateful for all of it!”

According to LinkedIn, Plant worked as an executive assistant to on-air talent for Today, starting in July 2022. Prior to this, she worked with The Walt Disney Company, serving on the production team for The View.
As noted by Hello! Magazine, there is some speculation that Julia will soon be working alongside Hager as part of her company, Read with Jenna. This book club has Hager pick a new book for fans to read and discuss each month.
