Jenna Bush Hager revealed her celebrity crush
Jenna Bush Hager’s celebrity crush has finally been revealed, and fans might be shocked by who it is.

Jenna, who recently opened up about trying to find a replacement for Hoda Kotb on Today, joined her former cohost in her first ever episode of Happiness Hour alongside another anchor Savannah Guthrie. During their conversation, mother-of-two Hoda expressed how she appreciated Jenna and Savannah’s friendship.

Hoda said she knew Jenna and Savannah’s friendship was “magic” when they were celebrating Jenna’s 40th birthday and when asked who her celebrity crush was, Jenna said Savannah. The former First Daughter remembered the moment and asked Hoda if she should be “embarrassed”, since many were waiting for her to say big names like George Clooney.

Hoda went on to praise the friendship and told her former colleagues: “Your bond is like, it feels kind of like me and Karen, it’s like you have that thing,” before asking Jenna to explain the connection.

Jenna opened up about her friendship with Savannah and how it happened “unexpectedly.”

She said: “When you don’t have expectations about something like you go to college and you expect a bunch of friends. You have a transition where you’re building a team, or whatever, you expect it.

“Unexpected friendship is a real gift and I grew up in a time where I sort of ran from journalists, like journalists like Savannah – maybe actually Savannah herself!” Jenna joked.

“So, when I came to the TODAY show, my expectations weren’t to build great friendships. My expectation was to build a career and start a life in New York. And I’d just married Henry and I didn’t think my friends were gonna be within the walls of my workplace. Unexpected friendships are a wild gift,” she added.

This comes after Jenna shared that it was hard to find a co-host to take over the former Today show star, who left the show in January. At the Read With Jenna Book Festival she told PEOPLE that they were “still searching” for Hoda’s replacement.

Jenna explained: “We definitely want somebody permanent at some point just because that’s our show, and I think the Today Show is such a family.” She added: “So to have somebody sit in that seat means a lot to all of us … I think we’ve all just been kind of living day by day and we don’t have any developments yet, but we will.”
