Jenna Bush Hager was not impressed with a clue used in question about her on Pop Culture Jeopardy!
The game show chose to use an especially daring snap of the Today show host, taken during a photo shoot in celebration of Hoda & Jenna reaching one million followers on Instagram in 2022.
The images showed the 43-year-old giving her best sexy looks with her blonde locks flowing in the wind, courtesy of her co-host Hoda Kotb, who just left NBC for good, and her blowdryer.
Two years later, the photos resurfaced on a recent episode of Pop Culture Jeopardy! in the form of this hilarious clue: “With the help of Hoda Kotb and a hairdryer, this Today Show book guru posted a thirst trap to celebrate 1 million followers.”
“All I have to say is I’ve never made my parents more proud,” Bush Hager, daughter of former President George W. Bush and former first lady Laura Bush, joked on Today’s January 14 episode. “That’s the Jeopardy! clue I get? Jeeze!”

Carson Daly admitted that he “didn’t even know what a thirst trap is,” prompting Bush Hager to tell everyone in the room, which included Savannah Guthrie, Craig Melvin, and Al Roker.
“I’ll tell you what a thirst trap is,” she said. “A thirst trap is, you know, you go on Instagram and there’s the people who are kind of sexy and dressed inappropriately and they’re trying to get the attention of somebody.”
Bush Hager has debuted her new segment, Today with Jenna & Friends, where the host will bring on various celebrity guests, including Scarlett Johansson, who will join the fourth hour of Today for a week beginning January 21.
Following Kotb’s departure from the show and NBC on January 10, Bush Hager told People that the thought of her not sitting beside her was “almost too much to bear.”
However, on her first episode, co-hosted with Taraji P. Henson, Bush Hager joked that finding a replacement was almost like dating again.

“I haven’t dated, and this is kind of my dating era, and you’re my first date,” Bush Hager quipped.
Kotb was shocked by her new morning routine days after her emotional exit from the Today show during the January 10 episode.
After nearly two decades, Hoda has decided it’s time to step away from the morning show and focus on a new chapter in her life, but she wasn’t ready for one experience going into it – having no alarms.
The journalist posted a screenshot of her daily wake-up calls for 3a.m., 3:15 a.m. and 3:30 a.m. on Instagram Sunday night, noting that they were all turned off.
“No alarm…whaaaaaaaattttt???” she wrote. “YESSSSSSSSS!!!!!!” Andy Cohen commented on the social media upload, while Jason Kennedy urged her to “sleep tight.”
The former Dateline correspondent also gave her replacement, Craig Melvin, a shout-out.
“Wake up in the morning ….and knock ‘em dead,” she wrote to him and Savannah Guthrie. “I am rooting for you.”
Kotb shared a similar post for Bush Hager.
“Sleep tight— then….tomorrow morning …. Begin again…you are magic!” she captioned a close-up shot of the 43-year-old.
On Monday morning, the former NBC News personality honored her absence with a quote reading: “And suddenly you know … it’s time to start something new and trust the magic of beginnings.”
She wrote: “Here’s to everyone starting fresh — @craigmelvinnbc and @savannahguthrie ….. @jennabushhager and friends.. and to me! Lets do this!”
