HOLLYOAKS beauty Jennifer Metcalfe has given a glimpse into her stunning home after rumours she had quit her stellar soap role.

Jennifer, who plays fiery Mercedes McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, gave a glimpse of her chic bedroom complete with a media wall and sky lights to let the natural light in.

She perched on a cosy grey blanket adorned with yellow flowers as she posed for a social media selfie.

After showcasing the storage space in her draws and wardrobes, the Bradford-born star headed into her cream-walled corridor, complete with stylish black door frames.

She then gave a glimpse of her open-plan kitchen – with furniture in the same monochrome shades – pairing white worktops with black cupboards.

The Hollyoaks favourite did a spot of washing up in her huge sink.

She then headed to a grey-walled bathroom with a huge mirror to take off her make-up.

Talking of the storage space in her home, Jennifer gushed in her Instagram caption: “I recently decluttered all of my clothes as I had way too many I couldn’t see what I had.

“Now all my lovely clothes have a space and I find piecing together outfits a dream coz I know where everything is.”

SOAP EXIT?

Last year, fans were left convinced she was calling time on Hollyoaks life after one huge clue.

The uncertainty comes after the hit soap was forced to address the recent cull of cast members – as well as its future on-screen.

Now viewers have called out Jennifer’s sizzling new professional headshots uploaded to her Instagram page as a sign she’s set to head to pastures new.

The images saw her flashing her toned abs in a cream knit jumper and leggings while another saw her posing in an all-white get-up.

Jennifer was also seen in a black bralet top and leather jacket before rounding off her new gallery in a cozy beige knit and white trousers.

Hollyoaks – cast member cull

Now Chelsee, who recently took time away from her role as Goldie McQueen to give birth to her second daughter, has now made a cryptic move on X.

The Manchester lass, 36, re-posted a picture of her character crying to her page.

It came after Stephanie Waring, famed for her 28-year-long role as Cindy Cunningham, confirmed that soap bosses had axed her as part of the 20-person strong cast cull.

Another big name set to quit for good is popstar turned soap star Jamelia.

The soap’s resident hunk and TV favourite Owen Warner has also left the show amid the cuts with fans left devastated to say goodbye to his character Romeo Nightingale.

Jamie Lomas has also quit the show and will depart his Warren Fox role soon.

Haiesha Mistry famed for her role as Yasmine Maalik has also left after seven years.

She posted the snaps to her grid and gushed: “New headshots.”

They can be used as part of her portfolio to pitch for all sorts of screen and media work – leading viewers to suspect she is moving on.

She has played the sassy role of Mercedes since June 2006.

NEW ROLE

While she might not have quit the Channel 4 soap – with bosses sparking fury among the cast backstage because of its slimmed down episodes – Jennifer has bagged another acting gig.

Her Birmingham-based BBC role will see her join the cast of Just Act Normal.

The dark comedy spans across six episodes and centres on a terrible family secret.

Jen takes on the role of Candy, who is character Leo’s partner.
