Presenter Jeremy Clarkson was inundated with messages after he found a monstrous creature on his farm. The Clarkson’s Farm star posted a snap to his Instagram account as he shared what he had discovered with fans.

The image showed a huge winged insect, which was dark in colour with greys and blacks decorating its widely-spanned wings. Captioning the social media post, Clarkson, 65, shared his surprise. He wrote: “What the f*** is this? It’s the size of a brontosaurus.” Fans flooded the comments with messages of support and their theories on what the mysterious bug could be. Some were very witty in their answers, with one theorising that it was “some type of pokemon” and another joking that it was Clarkson’s former Top Gear co-star, James May.

Someone else quipped: “I think Godzilla fought that one…,” while one more person penned: “Did you open your wallet?” Another social media user wrote: “The artist formerly known as caterpillar.”
However, others were more serious in their answers as they confidently identified the huge winged beast. “Hawk moth? I had one fly into my kitchen once and thought it was a bat at first because it was so big,” one wrote.
Another added: “Hawk moth believe it or not lol,” while a third confirmed: “A hawk moth… They are fab, aren’t they?”

It’s not the first time that Clarkson has shared a mysterious creature with fans. Back in October of last year, he updated his 8.7 million Instagram followers from an unknown location which left fans begging it wasn’t Britain.
“This little fella stopped off in my room this morning. To show me his beard,” the Clarkson’s Farm star wrote, as he showed off the furry spider, which was seemingly perched on a beige carpet.
Thankfully, Jeremy didn’t find the huge spider on his Cotswolds farm. Instead, it seemed like he was on holiday, with his previous post featuring a video of a turtle trotting down the beach.
