JUST IN: Dani Dyer’s “Pure Devastation” Over Shock Strictly Exit—And The Blunt Advice From Dad Danny That Left Fans Speechless

Dani Dyer’s Strictly Come Dancing journey was sadly cut short before it had really begun. After suffering an injury in training, the former Love Island star was forced to drop out of the BBC dance competition and was later replaced on the show by fellow reality star Amber Davies.
She had been partnered up with Strictly pro Nikita Kuzmin but, after seeking a medical check following a fall in rehearsals, Dani was advised not to continue dancing on her injured foot.
Dani was left understandably upset by her premature exit from the star-studded show. However, her famous father, actor Danny Dyer, has now offered up some blunt words of wisdom to help her get over the grief.
Chatting on her Live and Let Dyers podcast, Dani reflected on her short-lived Strictly experience, saying: “It’s so hard because I was just having the best time of my life. I was so happy, I was so excited.
“The photoshoots, they’re the fun part, but I got my partner, I got Nikita. We were all just so devastated about it, and I think because everyone was so devastated about it, it made it really hard for me. Everyone around me was pure devastation.”
She went on to confess feeling quite tearful over the situation, so much so that she felt she couldn’t leave the house to see anyone.
“I knew if someone said to me ‘are you okay Dani?’ I’d just cry,” she said. “Everyone is so kind and lovely and I could probably stand in the street and cry. For me, mentally, it’s just been really testing my mental health.”
Weighing in on the situation, her former EastEnders actor dad gave some straightforward advice.
“What you’ve got to do is, which you have, is pull up them big girl knickers, and we f***ing get on with it, because up to this point it’s been an incredible year,” Danny told his daughter. “You’ve done some amazing stuff.”

However, it’s not all bad news for Dani’s fans as the reality star may return to Strictly in the future for another shot at the iconic Glitterball Trophy. Could she make a comeback in 2026?
“I would love to come back,” she enthused. “I would absolutely love to come back. Listen, it’s a year away, but my door is open.”
