JUST IN EastEnders DROPS B0MBSHELL Twist After Harvey And Kathy’s SH0CKING Affair Leaves ALMOST EVERYONE Reeling In SILENCE

EastEnders has confirmed a major turning point for Harvey Monroe, following the explosive fallout from his affair with Kathy Beale.

The quiet cab driver has found himself at the centre of a scandal after his secret romance with Kathy was exposed in dramatic fashion. Earlier this week, viewers were left stunned when a furious Cindy Beale uncovered the affair and wasted no time in revealing the truth—sending shockwaves through Albert Square. Now, in the wake of the revelation, Harvey is set to face significant consequences, as the soap teases big changes ahead for the character and those around him.

After struggling to finish his relationship with Jean Slater, Harvey ended up agreeing to marry her and had to break things off with Kathy. But while the pair shared a farewell kiss, they were seen by Cindy who filmed whole the conversation.

With Kathy’s admission that Harvey had given her a false alibi at Christmas, Cindy was able to blackmail her former mother-in-law into signing over The Albert bar in exchange for deleting the video.

Later in The Vic, as Jean and Harvey announced their engagement, Cindy shared the video with the whole pub, leaving the Slaters devastated. Jean told Harvey she wanted to make things work with him for the sake of the family, but Harvey decided to choose Kathy and packed his bags.

In next week’s episodes, Kathy and Harvey enjoy finally being together without having to sneak around. Though they feel guilty about the impact of their new relationship on Jean and the Slaters, they are relieved that there are no more secrets.

However, the couple’s joy is short-lived when Kat tells Harvey he’s sacked from Kat’s Cabs. Suddenly unemployed, Harvey worries about finding a new job.

Meanwhile, things are set to take a troubling turn at the Slater house next week as Stacey’s mental health continues to deteriorate.

When Mo and Jean take a break from Albert Square, Lily and Freddie are left in charge of Number 31. But with grieving Stacey refusing to leave her room, the responsibility takes its toll on Lily.

Later, an incident at the launderette leaves the whole family terrified that Stacey could be experiencing another bipolar episode. Will they be able to pull through this latest trial together?

EastEnders airs on Mondays – Thursdays at 7.30pm on BBC One. The show also streams on BBC iPlayer, where most episodes drop early at 6am ahead of their TV broadcast.
